The farmhouse sink

Farmhouse sinks (aka apron front sinks) are not only cute for a country style home, but they are very spacious and useful. I always get frustrated when I am baking and I come out with dozens of dishes, bowls, and measuring cups piled in my really small sink, waiting to be cleaned or loaded into the dishwasher. A sink this big would make the job much easier! Here are a several examples used in kitchens:

I like the contrast between the white sink and jet black countertops.

Here one is used with wood countertops.

They even go well with colored counters and cabinets!
